Have a point of view.

I’m lucky and grateful to have learned and grown from not only my own grit and perseverance, but from some wildly talented leaders and mentors over the years. I’ve gotten to work in organizations that favor a learn-by-doing approach, letting one’s work speak for itself, and allowing failure as a natural part of the learning process. These principles and experiences have shaped me, and I do my best to continue to learn, sharpen, and grow.

I aspire to lead in kind, in the best way I can, by example, and with patience, integrity, and keen discernment. I believe in having a north star, living (and working within) my values, and remaining willing to have my mind changed.

Based on what I’ve learned, where I’ve been, and where I hope to go, I’ve cultivated a set of guiding principles. At the end of the day, I could probably sum it up pretty simply: work hard and don’t be an asshole.
